Residential
Adrian and Julian from The Floorplan Collective flew to Linyi, China, to understand the origins of the materials that would shape this home. Designed for a couple who spend half the year abroad, the residence was built with longevity, sustainability, and timelessness at its core.
The dry kitchen stands as the social anchor—framed by portals that guide movement and distinguish private spaces—while subtle interventions like dimmer lighting ensure the home adapts seamlessly to daily rhythms. Materials such as wood veneers, marine ply, and marble were selected not for fleeting appeal, but for their durability, health benefits, and enduring beauty.
This philosophy,“For Life, not just for now”, is embedded in every choice. From custom storage for art supplies to flexible, easy-to-maintain finishes, the home is designed to grow with its owners and serve them for decades to come.
This is not a home chasing trends. It is a home built to last: timeless, resilient, and deeply personal.
